TEDxTongChongSt launched our first-ever TEDxTongChongSt Adventure, featuring ThePokfulam Farm in Hong Kong, on December 10, 2022.

The century-old village’s most important tradition — the Fire Dragon Dance — was inscribed on Hong Kong's Intangible Cultural Heritage List in 2011. We’re grateful to our specially curated partners who have made this experience one-of-a-kind for our TEDx community prior to the PFL Farm’s official opening. A big shoutout to our sponsors and partners including Meta, Hong Kong Macau International Exchange Foundation, and U.S. Consulate General Hong Kong and Macau to bring the local communities closer together.

The TEDxTongChongSt team and our participants, mostly Fulbright Scholars and alums of International Visitor Leadership Program of the U.S. State Department in Hong Kong, also wanted to celebrate Caritas Youth and Community Service for its hard work to preserve this important piece of Hong Kong’s heritage, and for providing TEDxers a platform to have meaningful conversations about the sustainable management model for future development.
